This week in our Revelation series we examine Jesus’ letter to the church at Thyatira. Much like his letter to the church at Pergamum, Jesus encourages Christians to resist the misleading voice of false prophets and to remain true to him. In a city full of trade guilds who worship idols, this letter reminds Christians that they already have a tribe of faithful that will help them endure. Hope remains, even when there are no shortcuts through hardship.
