We wrap up our Revelation series with a hard teaching from Jesus through his letter to the church at Laodicea. Jesus calls out lukewarm believers who are wearing the name Christian but who are really pretending to be his followers. He says the proof of a faithful and true life – successfully living the lifestyle of a real Christian – is in repentance and earnest engagement with the practices of Jesus himself…helping others, serving others, and living on mission with Jesus to spread the good news of God’s love.
