Silent Prayer Vigil

August 5th, 2019 | Community Updates

We will be holding a silent prayer vigil this coming Sunday, August 11th from 4-5pm in the Chapel. If you would like to come and pray and light a candle for the lives that were lost in the violence that took place last weekend (and the week prior) in the communities of Gilroy, California, El Paso, Texas and Dayton, Ohio, you are welcome to participate and invite others to do so with you.

There will be no time frame for how long you have to pray. Come when you like and stay for as long as you like to pray during the 4-5pm window. We will have prayer guides available to read and walk you through what you might pray if you don’t know where to start or what to do.

If you can’t make it and still want to pray, please do. Pray for the spirit of violence to be broken in our country, and for God to comfort those who have lost family and friends to gun violence.
