This is the beginning of a new series, The Way, which focuses on the problem faced by many churches today – a lack of discipleship, or learning to have the character and skillset of Jesus. We will focus on specific rhythms and practices of Jesus and the first of his followers in their every day life – how they practiced the things Jesus did for the reasons that Jesus did them. We begin by making sure we’re on the same page as Jesus when it comes to the gospel (good news) he preached.
