Online Teaching for June 5th

This week we examine the contours of how Jesus passed on the life of faith to his disciples. We also take a minute to look at Paul’s example of how Timothy was brought up in the faith by his mom and grandma, Eunice and Lois. As we do this we look at everything through the lens of passing our faith on to our kids – and by extension – anyone else in our lives. Lois and Eunice had a “sincere” faith that was “alive” and well – the kind that can taken seriously and not dismissed easily. We strive towards that goal in this teaching by looking at misconceptions about passing on the faith and what it takes to really teach faith in Jesus to the next generation.
