Old Fashioned Family Christmas Party

November 23rd, 2021 | Community Updates

Join us for an evening of festivities including some delicious treats – like stroopwafles –  and hot drinks…including Pastor Worth’s FAMOUS WASSAIL! You can eat before coming, but we’ll likely have enough to tide your over, including pinwheel sandwiches and other holiday goodies (provided by Costco).

Enjoy some truly inventive and interactive group games, ornament-making, cookie decorating, gingerbread houses, a reading of How the Grinch Stole Christmas, photo booth, Christmas Carols…and lots and lots of Christmas cheer! Don’t forget to wear your best (or worst) sweater for the UGLY SWEATER CONTEST.

Date: December 18th
Time: 6:00PM
Location: WORSHIP CENTER

SAFETY PRECAUTIONS:

DO NOT come to this event if you are exhibiting any signs of COVID-19.

Please note we are not required to ask for proof of vaccination (see King County Faith-Based links below).

We are holding this event now because most kids in West Seattle have FINALLY had the opportunity to receive their first and second rounds of COVID-19 vaccinations by the date of this event. In addition we know that even thought cases are on the rise nationally, our local statistics show a downward trend of 10% as of November 24th. SEE MOST RECENT DATA LINKS BELOW

This event will be held in a large space and participants are REQUIRED TO MASK UP as well as sit at socially distanced tables with family groups or in groups with trusted friends. You may lower your mask temporarily to eat and drink, but must stay seated at your table when you do so (the same as if you were eating out at a local restaurant). Eating in the lobby will not be permitted.

Food will be pre-packaged and store-bought (i.e. Costco, Trader Joe’s, etc) and served to you by masked and gloved servers who have been fully vaccinated.

Free masks (including N95) will be available. Hand sanitizer is widely available. Bathroom usage is limited to 2 people at a time. Bathroom cleanliness procedures are posted.

Ventilation: 4 Industrial Strength HEPA filters will be running at all times. Doors will be opened periodically as well.
